Chemical Engineering Unveil Davidson Memorial Room

On September 14th at 3PM, Chemical Engineering unveiled its long-awaited renovation project to 826 Mudd. The Davidson Memorial Room offers multiple tools for learning, presenting and interacting in a way that will allow our faculty to extend the reach of the academic interests of Columbia University. Some highlights of the room include:

-Brazilian cherry wood flooring complete with cable raceway accent
-Keilhauer conference table with 4 unique inputs (2 VGA/2HDMI)
-Web based video conferencing complete with pan/tilt/zoom
-Interactive whiteboard with SXGA short-throw projector
-Two 70" LED Displays capable of true high definition content
-Total seating for 40 (including a mix of audience-style seating and table seating)

Guests included Omar Davidson's friends and family. Special thanks to Jean Tom for her involvement on the project.
