Apr 01 2019

Prof. Jingguang Chen won the RB Anderson Award of Canadian Catalysis Division.  The directors of the Canadian Catalysis Foundation (CCF) recognize the necessary interaction of the Canadian catalysis community with members of the international community. To help foster such interactions the CCF has established and sponsors a biennial presentation by an internationally prominent catalysis researcher at the Canadian Symposium on Catalysis. The RB Anderson Award is sponsored by the CCF and awarded every two years. The awardee will present two lectures at the Canadian Symposium on Catalysis. The awardee will give one educational lecture aimed towards graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. The second lecture will be one of the plenary talks at the symposium.

The Candian Catalysis Division has been established for Members of the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) who have a common interest, experience and/or training in the advancement of the knowledge and application of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical catalysis in Canada by encouragement of appropriate research and development in science and engineering.
